John A. Kellum, MD, Professor of Critical Care Medicine Research and professor of critical care medicine, of medicine (Division of Renal-Electrolyte), School of Medicine; of bioengineering, Swanson School of Engineering; and of clinical and translational science, will deliver a Provost?s Inaugural Lecture, The Inconvenient Truth about Acute Kidney Injury. 

The Provost?s Inaugural Lecture series invites University of Pittsburgh faculty members to give a lecture marking their recent appointments to endowed chairs. Dr. Kellum?s research focuses on treating critical illness, including acute kidney injury and sepsis.    

A reception with light refreshments will follow the talk.
